As the weather slowly cools down here in Hong Kong, it’s nice to relish all those ‘wintery’ things that I miss so much during the hot, sweltering months of summer. One of those things is the ability it lie in bed next to someone and not scream ‘DON’T TOUCH ME DON’T TOUCH ME’ when their arm happens to stray onto your side of the bed, and another is the cosy furnishings. I never counted myself a shagpile/sheepskin rug girl but something about our descent into winter has changed me this year. All I want is the temps to dip a little more so I can lie on a fluffy rug, in front of a fire, with partly singed marshmallows. Is that too much to ask? You can also make like just about every Scandinavian home (I imagine) and throw a sheepskin over your favourite vintage chair. So comfy!
