Gifts That Do Good

Gifts That Do Good
Let’s Do This.

Christmas is definitely a time of giving, to your friends and family, to yourself (I’ll take another slice of Christmas cake thanks!) and to others. Unfortunately¬†at such a busy time of year it can be hard to prioritise giving to others, but it’s something we all should do. Luckily there are easy ways to do it – for years I have been a big fan of buying Christmas presents that do good by donating to charities or supporting small businesses, it really is a great way to meet your gift buying and doing good objectives at the same time. Unicef cards¬†have been my go to for a long time and are fantastic as a last minute gift. Although with a bit of time up your sleeve, chances are¬†you’re looking for is a present that’s¬†unique and handmade, and also something where you know your money is going towards a good cause.

I’m excited to be partnering with Etsy Australia¬†for their Make For Good Campaign¬†– they’ve¬†worked with their makers to¬†create a collection of inspiring products, ¬†and from which 20% of the sales price will be donated to Plan Australia‘s¬†Because I am a Girl Campaign. Their aim is to empower young girls all over the world and create brighter futures by using the funds raised to help them learn, lead, decide and thrive.

You can now shop the full range of #makeforgood items by searching for #makeforgood on We thought it would be fun to show you a few of our favourite Make For Good Picks!

Our Picks

How gorgeous is this Botanical Print Wall Hanging? From Sellers My Bearded Pigeon, it’s perfect for the plant addict, or someone with a brown thumb!

If you know someone who is all about sleep, or wishes they slept better, this Lavender Eye Pillow has their (or your) name on it. Hand on heart I swear by them to easily drift off!

Get organised for next year with Carla Ellis Creative’s Make For Good Girls Wall Calendar. This is a key design¬†in the campaign and great stocking stuffer.

I’m all about a gorgeous wall vase, and this Kirralee & Co design is not only donating 20% of the sale price, but sustainably made too. Win win (win!).

And if you know someone like me who is prone to losing all their jewellery, buy them one of these Maribray Trinket Dishes. Too cute!

All of these gifts and more will be donating over 20% of their sales to the cause, so put these on your list of gifts that do good! Find other makers and products involved by searching for #makeforgood.

Loving a mix of Eucalyptus and Christmas berries at the moment! The perfect tiny arrangement for this Hanging Vase.

I adore the minimalist print on this lavender eye pillow, this is definitely one of those gifts you’ll want to keep for yourself.

I feel like my mum and sister would adore this calendar.

This post is in collaboration with Etsy Australia and we wholeheartedly support this campaign – hoping our dollars can do good this Christmas!
