As you guys will be aware, I do a LOT of DIY projects at home, in fact that’s what I spend most of my time doing, particularly during the festive season when there just seems to be sooo many projects I want to try. Because those activities often involve lots of dust, or paint and glue. I’ve recently started thinking a lot about how I can ensure good air quality while I’m doing it.
Which is why I like the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool air purifier. I have always been a fan of their tech, and this product is no exception. For those of you who don’t know, for the last few months I’ve been working as part of the Dyson Home Squad, and am delighted to have been given an inside look into how this product works and how it can improve the quality of your air and the health of your home.
What’s so cool about the Dyson Hot+Cool air purifier is that it monitors and cleans the air in real time, and is able to sense any toxins or pollutants in the air and remove them from your room. Using Air Multiplier™ technology, it automatically senses pollution, captures 99.95% of ultrafine pollutants, and projects purified and heated air throughout your whole room. The carbon and HEPA glass filtration systems remove dust, smells, particulates, toxins and pollutants from the air. And the LCD screen shows you how the air is performing in your room in real time, so you can see when anything you’re doing like cooking, painting or burning a candle impacts the air you’re breathing.
These days I use it whenever I am doing a project in the room I am in, to help remove the dust and any pollutants that might be in the air. It’s given me so much peace of mind! The rest of the time I usually have it in either our room or Frankie’s room when we’re sleeping, I’ve noticed it has helped us all sleep better. And because it’s also a heater and a fan, it helps to control not only the air quality but the temperature in the room too!
