Decorating a dollhouse for Christmas, is there anything cuter?
Recently one of my Geneva’s DIY School course students asked me to show them how to make a Christmas tree and what can I say, things just spiralled from there. I thought it would all be quite simple, and I would just do a Christmas tree, but in the end, it gave each room a complete redecorate – making most of the tiny things and finding so much joy in the process! And because so many of you guys wanted to know more about a Christmas dollhouse update, last week l added a whole new section to my Dollhouse Course, all about decorating for Christmas – there’s 7 new lessons, a shopping guide and so much more. Read on to see exactly how I redecorated this dollhouse for Christmas!

Before & After
Christmas Dollhouse Reveal
I began by refreshing the coffee window with a new awning and decorative garland. Inside the cafƩ, I added more garland and wreaths, complemented by the most adorable edible gingerbread houses (yes I made them by hand, and the full tutorial is in the course). The plant room received a complete makeover, featuring a variety of trees available for purchase, along with paper chain decor, festive gifts and decorations.
In the bookshop, I curated a seriously cute display of Christmas books adorned with garland and baskets of wreaths. The craft room was transformed into a cozy gift-wrapping station, complete with baskets of wrapping paper and ribbon. Even the craft shelves got a glow-up with added bows and garland. Finally, in the bedroom, a gorgeous bow covered tree, an array of tiny presents, a mini stocking, and cozy Christmas bedding.
