New York, New York
My love of this city is nothing new, hence the reason it’s been so much fun to share all my NYC travel guides with you. Although at first glance Mid Town may seem like it has less to offer than other parts of the city, you’ll actually find some really great gems in this part of town. The best thing to do is to strap on some comfy shoes and walk all the way up to Central Park. Enjoy!
Stay
Check out theĀ Ace Hotel. We stayed there for a few nights and even though I would probably suggest staying around Soho usually, the Ace is a great (and affordable!) option!
Eat & Drink
Have a coffee at Stumptown Coffee Roasters, located in the Ace hotel.
Head to Upland for a laid back Californian style Ā dinner.
Hidden in the lower levels of the Grand Central Station, is the Oyster Bar. We thought it might be a bit tacky but it was actually really great!
Of course we went to Tacombi Flat Iron.
We had dinner with my brother at the Cosme – the best Mexican food we’ve ever had! It’s better for a fancy dinner.
See & Do
As mentioned,Ā Grand Central Station is a magnificent landmark that is a must see.
Check out the Strand Bookstore.
Want ApothecaryĀ is a really cute boutique.
Make sure to check out the Flat Iron Building.
TheĀ New York Public LibraryĀ is another historically beautiful site to check out. So beautiful!
During the summer months, Bryant Park holds outdoor movie nights!
Top of the Rock gives you an all rounded city view from the Rockefeller Centre. Also The Empire State Building is worth checking out too.
Make your way toĀ MoMA for an inspirational journey through their collection of Modern Art.
Check out all the levels of ABC Carpet & Home.
What a view!
Best seat in the house!
Hit the pavement around Mid Town.
Such a cute spot for a burger!
