For me, it’s always a fabric or texture that inspires a project – materials like denim and rope just draw you in and beg you to get creative. I have the biggest (I mean, terrifyingly big) box of ropes in the studio, I can’t seem to stay away from them. And so when Witchery asked me to create something that would compliment their new collection, which embraces and summery 70’s vibe and is filled with lace, tan leather and chambray, my mind immediately went to rope. Slightly nautical, with a hint of western, I knew it would work perfectly. There are so many ways to integrate rope into a project, but to keep it simple I made the most straight forward project I could thing of – a simple knotted rope belt.
Head over to the new Witchery Report to read the instructions.Ā Truly very very simple.

Hello!
I also made a belt like yours, the closing is different (you can see on this link), I found some closures that are embedded in the bead and pasting it with glue.
