It’s that time again! Time for another branch Christmas tree.
It’s the first time we will spend Christmas in our house (we’re hosting this year!) and whilst part of my was excited to get a real tree and decorate it with Frankie, I just loved the branch one I made last year. It was practical, sustainable and pretty! So I had to make a new version. You’ll remember the original from last year (see the tutorial here).
I did a little video of making this tree for IGTV, which you can view here. This year I gathered branches from a pile my parents had at their house from their gum tree. The tree recently died (sob!) after having grown to about 50m since mum and dad planted it 30 years ago. So these branches and this tree means a lot! I also made all the floral decorations for the tree this year, and I plan to add a few more too! If you’re thinking about doing a tree this weekend maybe this is just what you need :). Enjoy!
