Does anyone else love this strange time of year between Christmas and New Year when you have zero idea of what day it is and there’s no such thing as routine? It’s the best! The perfect time to binge watch a show, sleep for hours during the day and truly relax. Admittedly the concept of relaxing has changed a lot since having Frankie, but I still love this time of year.
And, I have to admit that I like the weird, nebulous-ness of these few days because they usually offer up a few hours of downtime to plan the year ahead…. In case you’re like me and would like to get a jump on the new year, or at least start thinking a bit about your goals and the things you want to do in the coming year (and decade!) I’ve put together a list of things to read that might help.

And, without sounding too cliche, I really wanted to thank you all for tuning in here. 2019 was a year of immense change – both personally and as a team. I wrote a book, moved this website to a new country (and domain!) and juggled life as a parent. It’s been a crazy year, full of PLENTY of challenges and days when it was all too much. But that’s life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. One thing I know is that I couldn’t be more grateful to have you as readers (and friends!). Every day I feel so lucky that we have been able to connect with such an amazing community of doers and makers. I’ve got a lot planned for 2020, and I hope the coming year gives you health and happiness.
And for those of you who are asking, we are definitely doing the Word Of The Year printable this year, and we’re actually doing a more detailed goals/word of the year/projects printable that will come out in the next few days. It’s going to be the perfect accompaniment to getting organised. Stay tuned!
