When I found these super cute heart shaped mosaic tiles, I just knew I had to dream up a fun project with them.
So I asked you guys over on Instagram and so many of your suggestions were to make a mirror, so I thought I would give it a go! I’ve been absolutely loving experimenting with tiles and these were just so perfect.

How to make a Mosaic Mirror
1
The first thing I did was use my jigsaw to cut the frame, to create a kind of donut shape. Working in sections, I glued down the tiles, filling the whole frame. I found it was actually easier to put some glue directly onto the frame and then use a popsicle stick to spread it out, then place the tiles down.

Then following the instructions on the packet, I carefully wiped away the excess grout from on top of the tiles using a damp sponge. I thing it's useful to do a first wipe to remove a majority of the grout, then return in half an hour and do another wire down, then wipe with a soft cloth after 25 hours.

The final step was to just glue the mirror to the frame and it was ready to hang on the wall!! I used 5 Command strips to do this.
