A week ago today we welcomed little Frankie to the world. And I couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to her!
The last few days have been a blur of bub, feeding, changing nappies and generally settling into this new life – my brother calls it a steep but short learning curve and it truly feels that way. It’s funny, just when you thought you had in all likelihood maxed out your love amongst family and friends, a little Frankie comes into your life and helps you to redefine the whole idea completely (and seeing Ben with her makes my heart melt times a million). Sorry for soppy-ness guys, they say you shouldn’t drink and dial but perhaps at this stage of life the phrase should be don’t birth and type… You never know what’s going to come out!
I’m going to be taking it easy for a little while and attempt to (at least kind of) work out this parenthood thing, but you’ll be happy to know we spent a lot of time in the lead up to her birth putting together lots of creative DIY and interiors posts that we’ll be sharing here over the next few weeks. Looking forward to sharing more of this journey with you… And in case you’re wondering, there’s gonna be sooooo many DIYs!
