Is it a crying face emoji kinda situation when you look at your bank statement? Yah, been there.
But don’t worry, you need not spend a jillion dollars on gifts this holidays, so long as you have a dash of creativity and a bit of time. In many ways you’re lucky, because who doesn’t love hand made, thoughtful gifts? These notebooks don’t take too long to put together and offer the giftee a nice clean slate on which to start 2016… Something that’s actually priceless! Tell them they can thank you later.
DIY Personalised Notebooks
You need
- Soft bound notebooks (look for simple brown cardboard ones)
- A hole punch
- Ribbon
- Letter stickers
- Scissors
How to
- Punch holes in the notebooks.
2. Trim your ribbon to size.
And then tie a bow!
Add hand lettering or stick on letters in whatever saying inspires you the most. Kristen from the studio did the lovely hand lettering, and it’s true you need some skill to make it look this good. But now is a great time to practice! Stick on letters work just as well if you’re a little scared of putting pen to paper.
Voila! A gift that feelssss expensive, but isn’t.
