DIY Button Earrings

DIY Fashion Mar 11, 2012

Sometimes the best DIYs are also the most simple ones, and this project you can do in a matter of minutes. I was recently rummaging around in my bits and bobs drawer and came across these cute buttons I had taken off a vintage dress a few months ago. I love that they’ve kept their sparkle for years and years, and decided they would be perfect for this (simple as 1,2,3) DIY project.

You need:
– Acrylic glue (non toxic)
– Two matching vintage buttons
– Stud earring backs
Long nose plyers or scissors
How to:
1. Use the beading plyers to remove the backs of the earrings, if the backs are made from plastic you can use scissors instead.
2. Put some glue on the back of the buttons.
3. Wait for the glue to dry a little and go tacky.
4. Press the earrings back into the glue.
5. Leave the earrings to dry overnight
And you’re done, the perfect little DIY project in less than 5 minutes. What more could you want?
