As many of you probably know already, I’m lucky enough share our new studio with my boyfriend who runs Charlie & Rose, an interiors company that focuses on restaurants and other hospitality projects. The best part about working in such close quarters (apart from his knack at fixing our technical problems and making tea) is that sometimes we get to contribute to one or other of his designs (you may remember these mason jar lights?). Not so much in a structural sense, but in an icing on the cake sense. Recently, we had a great time creating a dozen macrame plant hangers for a new restaurant in Hong Kong called Limewood – the planters are quite difficult to make and therefore not easy to put in a tutorial, but we’re excited to be offering them as a workshop, so will keep you posted on dates! As you’ll see in the pics it’s such a cool space, and trust me, the menu is just as yummy as the mint walls!
Ps. Check out the recipe for one of Limewood’s signature cocktails here.
Congratulations Maximal Concepts and Charlie & Rose on such an fun and unique space!
