Making a DIY Arched Shelf Wall #notcardbored

Upcycled furniture Jan 20, 2022

The #notcardbored story continues, because more is always more.

After all the fun I had making my first #notcardbored arched shelf, I just HAD to try out a whole wall of them. I love this project so much, I mean the fact that you can use a material that would normally end up in the recycling bin, and turn it into something that I can hang on my wall and enjoy – yep, that’s my sweet spot!

Head over to my original post to find out how to make these cuties (tutorial here!) They are really fun and easy to make and the best part is, you can make them in any shape you like. It’s totally up to you and what suits your space.

When I saw them all as a group drying on the floor I got so excited to see them hanging together on my wall. I love the vibe they give off all together – I feel like I’m in the Mediterranean, and that’s never a bad thing. Especially when there’s pretty much zero chance of that any time soon. To hang these, I actually used 3M velcro command hooks, which have held up really well! You need to be realistic about how much weight you to put in them, but they’re a good approach if you don’t want to drill your walls.

If you make some, I’d love to see them so tag me on Instragram and use the hashtag #notcardbored
