I’m so excited to announce the release a new range of colours of our Collective Gen overalls.
Using colour in our home and on furntiure has made me so so happy over the last few years, so when finding inspiration for my new overalls collection, the starting point was my favourite paints. Of course it was! So you’ll see some familiar tones in the new collection – colours that over the years you guys have actually helped me pick for my projects. It become clear that if we all love them in our spaces then chances are we’d love them on our bodies too.
To create this collection, we actually decided to dye a small run of already made overalls, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. It saved fabric and reduced waste, but more than anything the reason we chose this method of garment dying is because it gives the fabric a worn in and vintage look. And it means each piece feels so unique and one of a kind. We used non-toxic dyes, and I love the rich colour tones so much – rose, slate, burnt brick, navy and caramel. I’m so excited for you to get some of the these pieces into your wardrobe.
