Bench seat cushions… without the headache!
Hey guys! You know I love a complicated DIY as much the next person (actually more, I would argue), but I have to admit sometimes I don’t mind cutting corners. Particularly when it comes to simple projects that you can do in under 10 minutes, that add comfort or aesthetics to a space without too much effort at all. Cos I know you’re busy! Enter, the bench seat cushions. I was looking to add some cushions to our window seating area in the studio, we often eat out lunches there so it would be nice if it felt a little more like a loungy break out space. I considered upholstering some cushions but time was tight, so went for this terribly easy no-sew option instead. Down the track I might upgrade but for now they work really well!

We thought it would be fun to put together a quick illustration of the process, it’s crazy easy and all you need in safety pins, fabric, foam, and scissors. You can also use hot glue to secure the edges if you like but this way you can remove the fabric and wash it and then pin it on again, good as new!
