Hello mini me!
Lots of you have been asking for more crafts that you can do with your kids, so I’m excited to be working with Canon for the next few weeks, bringing you fun and simple craft ideas in the lead up to Mother’s Day. These are designed to be easy and satisfying with a focus on things you have around you and things you can easily access online. First up? These matching tees that I made for Frankie and I!
Honestly? I never thought I would be a ‘matching with my daughter’ type of mum, but I really got into the idea of creating these matching tees, and to make it even sweeter Frankie was so SO excited when she saw them and when we both wore them. So, it was a project very much worth doing and one that I can’t wait to do again! I particularly love the versatility of this idea, because you can print literally anything onto the transfers. I did a few plant themed ones too!

You can watch the video for how to make these t-shirts below.
Materials
- Canon Iron on Transfer paper (for dark or light)
- Canon Pixma Printer
- Cotton T-shirts
- Iron
- Scissors
- A design to print. You can download my rainbow image here. Or here’s a plant printable!
Just to clarify, you can use any Canon printer to print these t-shirt transfers, I used the Pixma because it’s the one I have at home. It also has lots of other great home and craft functions! Oh and in case you didn’t know, Canon has a great website called Creative Park that has so many amazing creative things to do, including lots of t-shirt transfers you can download here.
If you’re interested in buying a Canon printer, they have me a 10% off code to share with you guys. Just use the code ‘Gen10’ to get 10% off.
