Another easy kids DIY project, coming right up.
It won’t surprise you that last week I went rummaging in my recycled materials box to come up with another project for Frankie and Emmie to do when we were bored at home one day. They’re obsessed with cameras at the moment…Namely our phones which we’d prefer not to give them! These little cameras are the perfect alternative, without a camera roll filled with blurry photos of toes. What’s more, they’re easy to make and were such a hit. Read on to see how.
You need
- A paper/plastic/polystyrene cup
- A rectangular box
- Acrylic paint
- Rope
- Glue (I used a glue gun)
- A matchbox, googly eyes and bottle lids (or any other materials for decorating)
How to
For this project we used a cup and a rectangular box. I flattened the box out by carefully opening it, as I found it easier to cut into it like that, but you can also simply paint it and cut the required bits without flattening it. It’s totally up to you!
