Twelve Cricut Projects To Try

Home DIY Jul 25, 2022

I have a confession to make, I’m a Cricut addict.

If you know me, you know I LOVE my Cricut. The projects you could make using Cricut and their line of products are endless. In fact, I’ve made your hunt for Cricut project inspiration a whole lot easier by gathering 12 Cricut projects you should try.

1. Patterned Table Linens

I’d been wanting to experiment with Cricut’s iron on vinyl Iron On Vinyl and thought this would be the perfect project to try it on. The best thing is being able to tweak the design to exactly your aesthetic.

2. Kitchen Pantry Labels

With this project I thought would tackle our nightmarish spice drawer and all our dry goods that are haphazardly thrown into the pantry. I got my hands on some pretty jars and knew this would make an amazing Cricut Project. Come organise with me!

3. Kids Height Chart

A seriously easy and cute project for a kid’s room, I love this one!

4. Curvy Wooden Vases

The Cricut Maker machine has a seriously professional finish, even when using wood. I used the amazing Maker 3 for this project, and once again loved how easy it was to create something unique and beautiful.

5. Retro Mugs

I was so excited when I first heard about Cricut’s Mug Press, having done a LOT in the last few years with my Cricut machine I knew the results would be really amazing. I came up with some retro inspired designs and they transferred perfectly.

6. Kid’s Lion Backpacks

I thought it would be nice to create a special backpack design for Bobbie and Frankie. They’re both our little lions so it made sense to use that as the inspiration! This is such an easy project and perfect for creating something cute for going back to school.

7. Wooden Jewellery Holder

Using the Cricut to make home projects is one of my all time favourite things, so when I realised I could make a  jewellery holder using just one material, and of course my Cricut, I was so excited to get started!

8. Hanging Sign

Using, naturally, my Cricut machine. As you guys know, I’m all about the professional finish that’s central to using a Cricut, and it turned what could have been a very basic sign into a seriously elegant design. I love!

9. Wall Cloud Lights

My favourite project, these scone lights were so easy to make and I always think about making more.

10. Wall Planner

Asx you guys know I’m all a bout a good list, and being able to take that na transfer that to a wall where I can remember and visualise it has been so helpful.

11. Personalised Olive Oil Bottles

I am such a huge fan of personalised gifts, and there’s nothing better than gifts that have been made with love and your own hands.

12. Gallery Wall Art

This was a great opportunity to use some of the designs I had my eye on in the Cricut Design Space app.

I hope this inspires you to get creative with your Cricut!
